Love House

RCE helps families willing – but without the means or space – to adopt more than one child or children with special needs. For example, RCE will help renovate a family’s home to allow for more children. RCE will come along side Romanian families with financial assistance for educational and medical needs.

Hope House Children go Home.

This spring God has provided permanent families for all ten Hope House children - now all settled in Love House families.

New Love House Family

Florin (1.18.92) was one of the boys in the state cottages when RCE took over in 2007. He had endured a childhood of terrible institutions, was troubled and suffering a disease that was taking his eye- sight. Florin seemed to be one of the least likely kids to be placed in a family – he was too old at 15 - and blind. Yet, in November 2009 RCE had the great privilege of helping a godly couple of modest means take Florin into their family. It is humbling to see the hand of a compassionate and holy God who overcomes seemingly insurmountable obstacles to bring mercy and justice to a young man like Florin. Your support will help this family care for Florin.

New Love House Family

These precious little girls share a mother - who was sent to prison and then she disappeared – and a stepfather who abandoned them (literally left them alone in yard with animals), hungry and traumatized the girls were taken to live in RCE’s group home, Hope House. Then in 2006, by God’s grace, they were placed in a Christian family in the village of Sofronea. The girls are thriving with two older brothers, a father, mother, grandparents. They both do well in school and enjoy their friends in the village and at the Sofronea Baptist Church (11 other children who have been adopted through RCE are now or have been part of this loving congregation.)

New Love House Family

Adina, is a very loving little girl who has suffered so much in her short life. She was abandoned as a baby and lived for 5 years in the state orphanage (the Cottages) for disabled children where she had little care until RCE took over the care and management of all 30 children in June 2007, including Adina. Adina has very little speech but she has learned how to communicate in other ways at Sunshine School. The RCE staff has prayed for a family for her for two years and in the summer of 2008 God answered that prayer. Today Adina has a mother who understands her special needs and a sister near her own age. They live in a village near Arad and Adina is already thriving in this nurturing family.

Roby and Cici (foreground) were rescued from a dangerously abusive situation in a remote mountain region when they were 4 and 5. They had received so little adult care they came to live at Hope House speaking their own developed language. After three years of special care at Hope House they were adopted into this Love House family. RCE helped the family purchase an apartment through an interest free loan.
